Accuracy · spot check Oct 9, 2026

How accurate is it? We checked.

On Oct 9, 2026 we re-pulled 11 current FDOT bids (mostly Northeast and Central Florida: Districts 2, 5 and 7 plus the Turnpike) straight from FDOT’s bid notices, letting-page tables and addenda, then compared them with what our cards said.

FieldMatched
Bid date (including one date moved by addendum)11 of 11
Owner (district / Turnpike)11 of 11
County11 of 11
Mandatory pre-bid flag11 of 11
All four fields44 of 44

What this does and doesn’t cover: it’s a spot check of four fields on 11 bids from one day, done by our team. It wasn’t independently audited, and it doesn’t cover quantities, estimates or plan-holder lists. Only one of the 11 had a mandatory pre-bid (E7V05-R0, Hernando, FDOT D7). We also tested the pre-bid flag on a past bid we knew had one (E59D4-R0, FDOT D5, Oct 6, 2026 letting), and it caught it. We’ll rerun the check and post the results as testers report errors. Summaries can still be wrong, so always check the official posting and addenda before you bid.

Found an error? Reply to any email. We log every report and fix it within 24 hours.

What subs are saying: Beta tester quotes coming late Oct 2026. (Testers start next week. We’ll only post real quotes, with permission.)

Fair questions

Before you sign up.

“Never heard of Patrick Foundry.”

Small Florida company, Jacksonville mailing address, real person at bids@patrickfoundry.com. Every card links to FDOT, so you can check us on the first email.

“I already check FDOT myself.”

Good. Keep doing it. This saves the daily click-through of 9 letting pages and pulls your quantities and plan holders onto one card.

“Is the data right?”

44 of 44 key fields (bid date, owner, county, mandatory pre-bid) matched FDOT’s own documents across 11 current bids in our Oct 9, 2026 spot check. Anything a document doesn’t state says “not stated.” Always verify at the source.

“Another subscription.”

14 days free, no card. After that it’s $49/mo or $490/yr, and you can cancel any time by replying.

“I don’t bid FDOT, I bid counties.”

Fair. County and city bids aren’t in yet. We’ll say on this page when they go live. Start a trial and we’ll email you when your county is added.

FAQ

Straight answers.

What do you cover right now?

FDOT construction lettings statewide: Central Office lettings, all seven district lettings and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise. County, city and federal (SAM.gov) bids are coming but are not in the email yet. Georgia is next after Florida. We will say on this page when each one goes live.

Where does the information come from?

Only official government postings: fdot.gov letting pages and bid notices, FDOT’s “Contractors Ordering Documents” plan-holder report, and FDOT’s preliminary letting results. We don’t copy from private bid networks.

How do I know a card is right?

Every field is taken from FDOT’s own documents, and anything a document doesn’t say is shown as “not stated.” We don’t guess. Summaries can still contain mistakes, so every card links to the official posting. Check the posting and all addenda before you bid.

Do you send plans or bid documents?

No. We link you to FDOT’s official posting, where you download plans and submit bids through the owner’s system. We never submit bids for you.

Why show the primes holding proposals?

For a sub, that list is who to call. If you want a quote in on a letting, those are the contractors pricing it. We also tell you when a new prime picks up a proposal.

What happens after 14 days?

Nothing gets charged, because we never took a card. Near the end of the trial we email you a link to pick a plan. If you don’t, the daily email stops.

Can I change my trades or counties?

Yes. Every email has a link to update your trades and counties, or just reply to any email and tell us what to change.

How do I cancel?

Use the “manage billing” link in your receipt or any digest, or reply to any email. You keep the email through the end of the period you already paid for.

Is this affiliated with FDOT?

No. Patrick Foundry Bid Alerts is an independent summary service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Florida Department of Transportation.

Who’s behind this?

Patrick Foundry LLC, a small Florida company in Jacksonville. The cards show what a sub actually checks first. Questions go to bids@patrickfoundry.com, and a real person answers.

Why did I get an email from you?

We email Florida site, utility and paving contractors listed in public trade directories and FDOT plan-holder reports, one at a time. Reply “stop” and you won’t hear from us again.

Is it really free for 14 days?

Yes. We don’t ask for a card, so nothing can be charged. Near the end we send a link to pick a plan. If you don’t, the emails stop.

How is this different from Bid Express or a bid network?

Bid Express is where you download plans and submit. We don’t replace it. We read FDOT’s postings every night and send you only the bids in your trades and counties, with your quantities and the primes to call already pulled out.

Can I pay with PayPal?

Yes, monthly or annual. Use the same email as your trial.
